Dr. Irwin takes great pride in helping people who suffer from sleep apnea to take back control of their lives, and treat this uncomfortable and sometimes frightening condition.  Dr. Irwin’s practice is located in Montgomery, Alabama; his focus on treating sleep apnea is through the use of oral appliance therapy, a simple and effective alternative to a CPAP machine. 

Dr. Irwin is an alumni of the University of Alabama, he received his dental degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham in 1968; during his schooling he achieved the Scholastic Achievement Award and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.  After receiving his degree Dr. Irwin joined the US Army and got sent to Belgium and practiced general dentistry for three years. 

As of 2012 Dr. Irwin will have 20 years of experience in helping to treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea; in 1992 he began his education in snoring and sleep apnea treatment and has been happily helping patients ever since.  Dr. Irwin says he feels a tremendous amount of gratification upon hearing of how his sleep apnea treatments have helped change his patient’s lives for the better.   Currently Dr. Irwin is a board certified member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
